Kuza Cave
Kuza is a cave pool at Unguja Ukuu, not a sea cave. You climb down into a limestone chamber and swim in fresh water that is clear enough to see the roots and the bottom. It is not deep in a frightening way, but non-swimmers should say so; life jackets are available. The visit itself is short. We usually pair it with Jozani, which sits on the way, so the drive is doing two things. There is a small shop and a place to change. Bring a towel and shoes you can get wet.

Questions
How deep is it?
You can stand in places and swim in others. If you do not swim, stay with a jacket near the edge. Tell the guide.
Is it religiously sensitive?
It is a swim. Wear what you are comfortable in. A T-shirt over swimwear is common and perfectly fine.
Can we do Jozani the same morning?
Yes. That is the pairing we suggest. Ask for both and we price them as one day.
