Serengeti Fly-in

The Serengeti is too large, and too far from Zanzibar, to treat as a day trip. This journey uses flights: Zanzibar toward Arusha, then a light aircraft into the park, two nights, and the same way home. Where you sleep depends on the month. The migration is not a permanent address. Between roughly December and March the herds are often in the south and on the short-grass plains; later they move west and north toward the Mara River. We put the camp in the right region for your dates instead of selling one lodge all year and hoping. Game drives are private. Predators are the point for many guests; they are looked for properly, not guaranteed on a clock.

Guide price: from USD 1450 per person. Replace this number when you edit the trip.

Questions

When is the migration?

It moves. Tell us your dates and we say where the herds are likely to be, and where they might not be. We do not sell the river crossing in a month when the herds are in the south.

Can we add a balloon?

Yes, in areas where balloons operate. It is an extra, booked only after the camp is confirmed.

Is three days enough?

Enough for a true impression and some long drives. Four or five days is better if the Serengeti is the reason for the trip.
